Aurora James

Aurora James, a Toronto, Canada native and New York City transplant, is the Creative Director and Founder of the Brother Vellies sustainable luxury accessories brand.

She founded the  Brother Vellies Brand in 2013, and a few years later, in June 2020, she founded The Fifteen Percent Pledge, an initiative that urges retail giants to commit 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned businesses, by creating clear business strategies and attainable goals.
