I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to conveniently use the cloud since I first got Google Fiber. Now, I believe I’ve found a system for storing photos that is both convenient and practical.

After taking photos with my DSLR camera, I connect the camera to my Chromebook via usb, and transfer the photos directly to Google Drive. After transferring the photos, I then delete them from the camera.

From Google Drive, I can download the photos to any of my computers, and, with 1 terrabyte of storage, I won’t need to worry about running out of storage space anytime soon.
